This little man’s sister and mama welcomed me and my friend into their home the other day. We laughed, sipped coffee around their table, used google translate for every single sentence, kept getting fed more and more snacks, laughed some more. 😂
More often than any place in the world will you find an embrace in the arms of a stranger which reminds you of an old friend. I adore this about Middle Eastern culture. It’s like a flavor of welcome that makes you feel like family although you just met out on the street. How lovely it is to live with a wide open heart AND an open door. (Perhaps our hearts are as wide as our front door).
